  26. An alternative answer might be to buy a copy of Tim Kientzle's *The Working
  27. Programmer's Guide to Serial Protocols* (Coriolis Group, 1995), which includes
  28. a floppy with sources for various protocols, one of which is zmodem.  One
  29. should note that said source code is *not* freely copyable, but the terms
  30. indicated in the book seem to me personally very reasonable.

  32. IMHO the book is well worth the price for the text, much less the floppy.
